ESME
ESME e.V. is a non-profit organisation in Munich, Germany, which offers the opportunity to make music in an English-speaking environment. We now have more than 160 members representing over thirty nationalities, from native English speakers to those wishing to use English for practise and to help make new friends. We have three core ensembles – the Orchestra, the Singers, and the Resident Alien Big Band – each rehearse weekly. Generally, we hold two concerts per year, in the Summer and in the Winter. Our annual Spring Showcase also provides the opportunity for members to join other musicians playing in smaller ensembles. Our Resident Alien Big Band also plays numerous dances, gigs and festivals throughout the year.
As the name implies, all rehearsals, communication and social events are held in English.
Our current openings are always listed on our Join Us page. We welcome people to contact us at any time of the year!
